Polenta is an ancient Italian dish, based on corn flour.

Various regional recipes offer polenta in combination with meat (polenta and wild boar), fish (polenta and cod) or "concia", seasoned with cheese.

Tartuflanghe offers ready polenta with truffle, already seasoned with butter and cheese and enriched with the precious tuber.

Also excellent with our creamed cod and our porcini mushroom and sausage sauces.

Ingredients and allergens

Ingredients: instant corn flour 88%,  freeze-dried cheese (PDO Parmigiano Reggiano - milk, salt, rennet), salt, freeze-dried summer truffle (Tuber aestivum Vitt.) 0.5% (like 2% of fresh truffle), onion, garlic, pepper, flavors.

It may contain traces of egg.

Chef tips:

Fill a large pot or saucepan  4 jars of  unsalted water. Bring water to boil, adding the butter or the olive oil. Pour slowly the content of the jar and cook for about 3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve hot. To obtain a thicker polenta, just increase the cooking time.
